I am the wife of a 20-year Navy officer and the mother of four beautiful children. We have moved approximately one million (okay seven) times, and currently reside on the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii.

While my master’s degree is speech-language pathology and I worked in the field for nearly 20 years, I have always loved exercise as a hobby and ran two marathons in my early 20s. While I ended my marathon career there, I continued running as a lifestyle, which to me meant running 3-6 miles EVERY day. Having been fairly lean my whole life, this worked for me for a good 20 years into adulthood, when the stressors of adulthood-marriage, kids, career-started to take its toll in the form of migraines, hair loss, fatigue, anxiety and an extra layer of belly fat I could not get rid of no matter what I did!

Searching for a sustainable program, I found the FASTer Way and within 2 weeks I was HOOKED. I was eating twice as many calories, working out half as much, and feeling more energized and stronger than ever. After a lot of prayer, I became a coach for the program in 2018 and was quickly able to make it into my full time career. I feel truly blessed to work with each and every one of my clients and truly live my passion!

 MY FASTER WAY STORY

 

Have you every been told that you need to eat less and exercise more to lose that stubborn belly fat? I believed in this method for YEARS. I will always remember the very day my friend told me about FASTer Way to Fat Loss. To be honest, I ROLLED MY EYES when she told me about another nutrition program. Even though I was generally eating clean and healthy, I have NO tolerance when it comes to strict nutrition rules. I had tried and failed so many nutrition programs before: Whole30, 21 Day Fix, Keto & so many others because I simply refuse to deprive myself of the things I love!

She completely caught me off guard when she told me that they were instructed to have donuts every Saturday. Um… what?! Eating donuts could not possibly be part of an effective nutrition program. She also told me about focused the program was on strength training. Again - I LOVED cardio and running and was CERTAIN this was not going to be a program that would work for me.

Fast forward 6 months and with another move and another deployment on the horizon, I decided it couldn’t hurt to try the FASTer Way. I joined the FASTer Way to Fat Loss in January 2018 and I was hooked after the first week! I COULD NOT BELIEVE how much food I was expected to consume! I felt lean and strong and was being TOLD to eat more carbs. By the end of my first round, I was sleeping GREAT, had a TON of energy, my sugar cravings were gone and my overall mood had improved. I couldn’t believe it! I’ve lost a total of 8 inches - 4 inches around my stomach alone and I cannot imagine living without the FASTer Way. I have never felt this strong, lean and healthy in my entire adult life! I work out HALF as much and eat nearly DOUBLE the calories that I was a few years ago.
