Do we really need FAT in our diet?!
When I first started the FASTer Way, my coach kept telling me, “add more fats!” I legit thought it was some sort of Mean Girls-style joke as I added 1/4 cup of peanut butter into my protein shake and drank it, terrified. 🤣
Turns out, FAT does not make you fat. Let’s repeat that again together - FAT…. DOES NOT…. MAKE YOU FAT!
Fat is actually what makes you full and satisfied because it’s what gives your food all that yummy flavor! It also lowers cholesterol, improves brain function and reduces inflammation. Fats give your body energy and support cell growth. Fat protects your organs and keeps to keep your body warm! It’s so important! So - no more measuring my nut butters with a tiny little teaspoon and splitting an avocado into 4 servings. Isn’t that great news?! Bring it on!!
